The Graduate Certificate and MA in Applied Environmental and Sustainability Studies will prepare students to analyze complex environmental problems from a variety of perspectives and apply their findings to facilitate change. Students will attain skills in environmental studies, sustainability, and policy and governance. The interdisciplinary structure of the program combines cutting edge academic knowledge in environmental issues and questions of sustainability with oral and written communication and problem solving. The curriculum, which will be offered entirely online, consists of core courses and elective courses. The Graduate Certificate can be completed by itself or as a part of the MA program in this area.
